Hello everyone and nice to have you back on our blog (again). My last post already gave it away: I’m on the road again, heading home! Three exciting weeks in Turkiye are behind me and all the experiences and impressions have to sink in for a while. But I can already say one thing: big thanks to Continental Turkiye and the whole crew – it was amazing!
Now the show truck and I are rolling through Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic all the way to Germany. Despite the great distance of almost 2,500 kilometers, we are doing pretty well in terms of time. And this despite the fact that the border crossings between Turkiye and Bulgaria (Kapitan Andreevo-Kapikule) and Bulgaria and Romania (Ruse-Giurgiu) take an incredible amount of time. Believe it or not, they involve a total waiting time of 60 hours!
As I’m traveling for about a whole week with all the trimmings, I have plenty of time to reminisce about the last three weeks in Turkiye. And so, I thought: why shouldn’t I share them with you?
So here is my personal top 5 of my trip through Turkiye:
1) The coolest event ever
It was the very first event for the show truck and me in Turkiye, but it simply remains unsurpassed. It was a blast – definitely one of the coolest events of the entire #ContiEuropeanRoadshow so far!

2) The best crew in the world
I can’t say it any other way: my Turkiye crew simply outdid everything. You could almost say it was like love at first sight and from that point on it just got better and better – incomparable!

3) The Europe-wide diversity of Continental
Through the roadshow, I get to know the diversity that unites Continental across Europe. It may be one big brand that connects everything, but: different countries, different customs – that also applies to the world of work. Very exciting!

4) Most stopovers in the destination country
In no other destination country have the show truck and I made as many stopovers as in Turkiye. I was able to get to know 12 different places – both big cities and more rural areas. Conclusion: exhausting, but great!

5) Not just work, but also pleasure
Discovery tours, fun activities and classic tourist moments were not neglected either. It really was a colorful mix of everything and that’s just the way I like it – from start to finish.

Despite all this, I’m still looking forward to returning home – after all, there’s no place like home, is there? Even if the stay is only short-lived for now, as the show truck and I are heading to the Czech Republic in a couple of days. More on that in due course!
Until then – see you on the road,
your Ronny
