Púchov: The Roadshow Stops in Slovakia

by | Jun 25, 2024 | Allgemein, Insights, Topstory | 0 comments

The roadshow adventure in Slovakia begins in Púchov, a town of 17,000 inhabitants. The town is best known for the Continental Tires Slovakia production plant, where more than 5,000 people work.

Not far from the plant is the site of the tire retailer Mikona, the largest customer of the Continental tire brand Barum. This strategic proximity gives us the perfect opportunity to present our products and services on site.

Together with Mikona, we welcome almost 50 of our partner’s employees and present our latest developments to them – including the Conti Eco Gen 5, other digital solutions and our ContiLifeCycle concept.

From Púchov to Banská Bystrica

On the second day, our roadshow moves on to the Dixon congress hotel in Banská Bystrica. Here we continue our programme in several rounds and welcome numerous smaller customers who specialize mainly in the sale of truck tires.

“The hotel with its quiet and well-situated location offered the ideal environment for our roadshow,” says Roman Mosko, a member of Continental’s marketing department for Slovakia and the Czech Republic. “This was also appreciated by the 40 or so participants who were interested in our products.”
