Our tour started in Romania, on the most beautiful location in Teleac, near to Alba Iulia. The hosts from Theodora Golf Club took very nice care of all the team and the most important of our guests.

Ronny arrived to the location without any problem, although we were a bit worried about the narrow entrance to the location, but as a professional, he mastered the drive in. With nice and shiny tires and the truck, he was awaiting the organizational team to arrive.

Two Events in Romania: For Fleet and Trade Partners

In Romania we were hosting two events, one for our Fleet and one for our Trade partners. We prepared for them different interesting topics, but first we offered them to try themselves out on the Golf shooting range to discover, that Golf is not such an easy sport and that it needs a lot of practice.

The topics, that were presented by our specialists from Sales and Technical customers service were: Lowest Overall Driving Cost (LODC), Generation 5 tires with emphasis on the Hybrid tire line. Van tires, Tire damages and we also presented our Continental Automotive solutions with Innovation truck. where we presented our expertise in the automotive segment, of course related to truck systems development.

As by the feedback, our guests really enjoyed the location, with the most beautiful sunset, great hospitality and accommodation.

Exploring the Alba Iulia Fortress

We also managed to visit the Alba Iulia fortress, where we were guided by a very special Roman guide, who thought us a lot about the history of the citadel Alba Carolina, that was build during 18th century, during the Habsburg ruling in Transylvania.

The citadel was built on the site of two other fortifications: the legionary fortress of Legio XIII Gemina (known as Apulum), and the medieval Belgrad citadel. We concluded the tour with a great dinner between the citadel walls in Unio Vini restaurant, where we were enjoying live music, culinary delights and of course local selection of wines with amazing presentation and tour in their wine cellar.

We leave the town full of positive impressions, but are of course also looking forward to new adventures in the following places. The anticipation is great for Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where we start our Bulgarian adventure. See you on the road.
