Our stay in Bulgaria is now over and we are off to Serbia with our truck, van and car. The #ContiEuropeanRoadshow continues there, with the aim of promoting cross-border business partnerships, showcasing innovative solutions and promoting sustainable future across Europe.
As soon as we enter the country, we experience the everyday struggle of the truck drivers, with waiting time on borders and the paperwork, that needs to be solved.
Serbia has a growing network of modern highways (Autoput) connecting major cities. They are generally well-maintained, with rest stops, fuel stations and restaurants, with clear signage in both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets.
Arriving in Lapovo is very easy, as location of our next stop was just by the highway connecting Belgrade with Niš. This time we stop at our partner Baki d.o.o.
The weather didn’t play a big role, as we were nicely hidden in the Baki warehouse, so that the few raindrops did not bother us at all.
Baki d.o.o. is a well-known company in Serbia that specializes in the sale of high-quality tires for various types of vehicles. Over the years, the company has built a strong reputation for its wide range of tire products, customer-focused service, and commitment to providing safe and reliable solutions for all driving conditions.
But they are not only known for its wide range of tire products but also offer AdBlue, a crucial fluid for modern diesel vehicles equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems. This makes Baki d.o.o. a comprehensive provider for vehicle maintenance products beyond tires, addressing the growing needs of eco-friendly and efficient vehicle operation.

Finding the right solutions in time when the technology fails
As the truck is on the road and leaving a lot of kilometers behind, we are also facing some technology problems, but luckily we have a team of professionals, that are supporting us and also helping us to overcome all the obstacles on the way.
The roadshow continues its way through Serbia in the coming days, with exciting opportunities for collaboration and economic development on the horizon.
